What We Ate In Kuala Lumpur

February 16, 2019

Fazwan and I spent a week in Kuala Lumpur last August to celebrate my belated birthday as well as to run some errands as part of our engagement preparations. It has been quite a while since I last did a post for this "What We Ate In ________" series: and I actually have a lot to update from most of the trips that I've taken. What's new.

May this procrastination to update disappear as 2018 disappears from us.

Nothing like Halal Pepper Lunch from Pavillion to kick start our trip!

Cheap dim sum from the food court at Pavillion's basement.

Snack break with halal takoyaki from Gindaco!

Froyo stop in the middle of shopping.
Some of the food that we got from Dolly Dim Sum. (Read my review here)

The stash that we got from Tapak Urban Street Dining - I'll write a proper post on this place soon!

We came here after our hike. Yes, we hiked in Kuala Lumpur!

Plain Roti Canai

Mee Goreng

Kaya Prata, my favourite!

Shout out to Ben from openskyunlimited for this hearty meal!

Desserts from Dal.komm Cafe at the Petronas Twin Towers.

Food trucks just outside of our Airbnb apartment.

We ended off this trip to Kuala Lumpur with a hearty meal from Boat Noodle at Berjaya Times Square, while waiting for our bus ride home. It was a really quick and productive trip, to be honest, because our main purpose of going was to get a breather + get our engagement prep done. Butit was a good trip, nonetheless. I've always believed that the destination is a bonus. It's the company that matters <3
